Why Attendance Matters
As we evaluate our progress, we want to share an important milestone: Our average attendance for Semester 1 was 90%. While this shows a strong commitment from our families, we are pushing for even higher engagement this semester. Students who attend school regularly are significantly more likely to master reading and math skills at their grade level. Every day a student is in class is an opportunity to engage in the "productive struggle" that leads to real academic success. Let’s work together to beat our Semester 1 average!
Attention Students: Valentine’s Bash!
NJHS is excited to host our Valentine’s Bash on February 13th! We are opening up two gyms for two different types of fun:
Gym 1: Valentine’s Dance
Gym 2: Basketball Fun
The Details:
Cost: $5.00 to attend.
Requirement 1 (Behavior): Students must have NO discipline referrals between February 2nd and February 13th.
Requirement 2 (Attendance): Students must be at school for the entire day on the day of the event.
