We are incredibly proud of our students' recent achievements:
GMS Band: Congratulations on your performance! We are excited to announce that our band will be representing GMS at the State Competition next week.
FCCLA: Congratulations to our FCCLA students for their hard work and leadership at the State Conference this past week.
Attendance Matters: The Push for 95%
Attendance is always our top priority, but it is especially critical right now. This past week, our campus attendance averaged 88%. While we appreciate every student who is here, we need to bridge the gap to reach our goals.
Please mark your calendars for State Testing Week (April 13th – 17th). We are required by the state to test, with a mandatory minimum participation rate of 95%. Meeting this threshold is vital for our school’s standing and ensures every student's hard work is counted. Please avoid scheduling any doctor's appointments or out-of-town trips during that week.
Upcoming Events & Tryouts
GMS Talent Show: Attached is the flyer for our upcoming Talent Show this Friday! Please note that we will need at least 15 participants signed up in order to host this event. Check the flyer for details on how to sign up and show off your skills!
Cheer & Dance Tryouts: Are you interested in being part of the squad for the 2026-2027 school year? Cheer and Dance tryouts are quickly approaching. Please see the attached flyers for tryout dates, requirements, and meeting information.
Chromebooks & Acceptable Use Policy
As a reminder, all students are expected to follow the Electronic Device User Agreement.
Policy Enforcement: For students who have had their Chromebook privileges removed due to policy violations, teachers will provide paper-based alternative assignments.
Parent Support: We have attached the Acceptable Use Policy to help clarify expectations. We appreciate your partnership in ensuring our students use technology responsibly.
