Summer athletics

As we head into the summer months, we are excited to provide our student-athletes with opportunities to continue developing their strength, conditioning, and overall fitness in preparation for the upcoming seasons. Staying active during the break is vital to maintaining the Gattis PRIDE—Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline, and Excellence—that our coaches and staff have worked so hard to instill this year.

Summer Program Highlights

Our summer programs are designed to help students transition smoothly into the 2026-2027 athletic seasons. Please keep the following updates in mind:

  • Athletic Focus: We are committed to building high-level athleticism and discipline, building on the systems our coaches have implemented during the off-season.

  • Preparation: These sessions are the best way to ensure your child is physically prepared for the rigors of competitive sports starting in August.

  • Consistency: Just like our attendance priorities during the school year, consistency during the summer is a top predictor of success on the field and in the gym.

Important Upcoming Dates

While we enjoy the summer break, please mark your calendars for several key events and tryouts occurring as we lead into the new school year:

  • Tryouts for the '26-'27 Cheer teams are scheduled for coming.

  • 2nd Chance JV Dance Tryouts  for 8th graders– May 11 and May 12

Please ensure your child is following all safety protocols and remains hydrated as the weather continues to warm up. We look forward to seeing our athletes return stronger than ever.
