As we move into the final two weeks of the school year, I want to start by extending a heartfelt thank you to our entire Gattis community for making Teacher Appreciation Week so special.
To everyone who sent in treats, supplies, or kind notes to "love on" our educators—thank you!. Your generosity was deeply felt by our staff, and it provided a wonderful boost as we head into our final stretch.
Important Reminders for the Upcoming Week
This week represents our final push on instructional priorities. Students should remain focused on high-level engagement as we wrap up our final units.
Celebrating Growth: On Wednesday, May 13th, we will hold our Winning House Field Trip in the morning (GO AMISTAD) and the State Testing Reward Field Day in the afternoon for eligible students.
Elective Finals: Please note that Elective Finals are scheduled for Friday, May 15th.
End of Year Dance: We are excited to host the End of Year Dance this Friday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Planning for the Future
As a reminder, if your family is planning to leave the school district for any reason at the end of this year, please reach out to the front office as soon as possible. We want to ensure a smooth transfer process and have all necessary records ready for your child’s next school.
