We have a thrilling week ahead filled with school pride, fun activities, and important events for our students! Here is everything you need to know for the week of September 14th – 18th:
We encourage all students to participate in our Spirit Dress-Up Days throughout the week:
Monday, Sept 14: Twin or Trio Day! — Pair up with a friend or two and dress alike.
Tuesday, Sept 15: Gattis GREEN Day! — Wear your Gattis green to show your school pride!
Pep Rally: Students will attend our pep rally at 2:30 PM.
Homecoming Football Games: Join us in supporting our teams! The Fall Homecoming presentation will take place during the game.
8th Grade Football vs. Hobbs Houston @ 5:00 PM
7th Grade Football vs. Portales @ 6:15 PM
Wednesday, Sept 16: Pajama Day! — Wear your comfiest cozy clothes to school.
Thursday, Sept 17: Anything But a Backpack Day! — Get creative and bring your school supplies in anything except a traditional backpack.
Friday, Sept 18: Wear Wildcat Purple / Wildcat Friday! — Show off your Wildcat spirit!
Homecoming Dance: Friday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Students have to be present ALL day in order to attend. Also, any student with a behave out from any class or discipline referral for this week will not be allowed to attend.
Picture Day is coming up on Friday, September 18th! All students will have their pictures taken during their scheduled History class throughout the school day.

Important Student Guidelines:
Students will take their pictures during their scheduled History class.
Please make sure students are following the school dress code.
No hats or other head coverings that are not permitted by school policy.
Payment Note: Payment must be made directly to the photographers on Picture Day. Students should not give money to the school or yearbook staff.
Picture retakes will be held in October (more information regarding the exact retake date will be shared closer to time).

Wednesday, Sept 16 – BOY iMSSA Testing: Students will take the Beginning-of-Year iMSSA assessment throughout the day (except 4th period) to help us establish a foundation for where our students are and support their learning journey. Please ensure all are present and have a charged Chromebook
