The Clovis High School Cross Country team recently competed in the Rio Rancho Jamboree. Last year the varsity boys placed 17th, and this year they placed 11th. They were selected for the Championship division, which includes the fastest teams in the state.
The girls placed 7th, which is the same as last year, but there were more teams this year. They also ran in the Championship division.
JV boys placed 8th last year and 5th this year.
JV girls placed 11th last year and 4th this year.
This was by far the biggest race we have ever run in, and we did a fantastic job. There were over 105 teams and 10 races. The majority of our returners improved even with muddy fields. Way to go Wildcats!
