W.D. Gattis Middle School

Out of an abundance of caution due to tomorrow’s expected severe weather, our school will be in remote learning tomorrow. To ensure a smooth transition to online learning, please review the key expectations and schedule below:

Attendance will be taken each period. Students must log into every scheduled class on time.

All instruction and meeting links will be hosted via Google Classroom. Please ensure your child logs into Google Classroom at the start of the school day and each period on time.

Need Help? If you or your child have trouble finding a class link or logging in, please reach out directly to the class teacher via email as soon as possible.

Remote Learning Schedule
Synchronous (live instruction) will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Asynchronous learning (independent study) will occur for the remainder of the day, during which neither students nor teachers are required to be logged in.

9:00 AM – 9:30 AM First Period
9:30 AM – 10:00 AM Second Period
10:00 AM – 10:30 AM Third Period
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM Fourth Period
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM Fifth Period
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM Sixth Period
12:00 PM – 12:30 PM Seventh Period

12:30 PM onward: Asynchronous Learning / Independent Work
