Gattis Middle School Weekly Schedule

Welcome to the start of the second nine weeks! We are excited for another productive quarter of learning, growth, and school spirit.

As we begin this new grading period, our teachers and staff are focusing on re-establishing classroom expectations to ensure every student has a safe, supportive, and focused learning environment. We encourage families to review these key tips at home so we can work together to help every Cub succeed.

Tips for Students: Staying Respectful and On-Task
To make the most of every school day, here are key habits students can focus on this quarter:

Start Strong (Bell-to-Bell): Arrive on time, take your seat right when the bell rings, and immediately jump into your warm-up task. Learning starts the moment class begins and continues until the final bell!

Respect the Classroom Space & Routines: Follow seating charts, entry and exit procedures, and hall pass guidelines. These structures are in place to keep class running smoothly and limit distractions.

Practice Active & Respectful Listening: Show respect to your teachers and classmates by giving your full attention when someone is speaking, raising your hand to share, and using positive, encouraging language during group work.

Take Ownership of Your Success: Come prepared daily with required materials, ask questions when you need help, and stay focused on your work from start to finish.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Let's make the second nine weeks our best yet!

Go Cubs!
