About Highland Academy
Highland Elementary Guiding Principles
In order to advance our shared vision, we:
Provide an inviting classroom for students - an environment with clear expectations, consistent consequences, and specific articulated, academic goals.
Help all students achieve the intended outcomes of the curriculum by addressing their individual needs and learning styles.
Involve parents in the education of their children by keeping them informed of student progress and offering suggestions for assisting their children.
Monitor the results of our individual and collective efforts and use evidence of results to guide our processes of continuous improvement.
Teach, model, reinforce, and assess the "Six Pillars of Character" throughout the school.
