LECC 4Y Loop Construction Info for Tuesday 2/18

Construction has begun on LECC’s permanent shade structure on the 4Y loop side of the building.  Due to this construction for the shade, the loop’s traffic flow for drop off in the mornings and pick-up in the afternoons will be altered.  Construction is anticipated only for this week of Monday – Friday 2/18-2/21.

Students will need to be dropped off closer to the back entrance of the building (near the turn-around portion of the loop).  Cars and traffic flow will then need to follow the cones and transition to the left side of the loop to bypass the construction and then exit safely.

The student entrance and exit normally used for arrival and dismissal  will be closed due to the construction.

Due to anticipated low temperatures, students will be dismissed from the cafeteria this week. PARENTS WILL WALK UP TO THE CAFETERIA  AS NORMAL FOR INDOOR DISMISSAL THIS WEEK.   Cars that arrive in the loop  will be loaded using the BACK EXIT described above.  Please follow the cones to transition to the left in order for cars to be loaded and then exit safely.  PLEASE WATCH FOR STAFF AND STUDENTS WALKING ACROSS THE LOOP TO LOAD ON THE LEFT SIDE, as this is not typically how we load students.

Thank you for your support and patience as we alter our loop routine for the shade construction.

Stay warm and safe,

Pam Estock
