CLOVIS, N.M. — Jan. 15, 2026 — Clovis Municipal Schools hosted the second annual Amazing Shake District Competition on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at the Raintree Property on East Llano Estacado Boulevard. The high-energy event brought together 131 of the district’s top student leaders for a day of real-world skill building.
The competition featured students in grades 4–8 representing 13 schools across the district. These participants earned their spot at the district level after excelling in campus-based competitions.
The Amazing Shake focuses on building essential life skills, including communication, professionalism, adaptability and critical thinking. Throughout the competition, students participated in fast-paced, interactive challenges that mirrored real-world experiences such as mock interviews, problem-solving exercises and interpersonal communication scenarios. These skills help prepare students for success both in and beyond the classroom.
After multiple competitive rounds, the following students earned Top Eight District Honors:

Andi Ward, Marshall Sixth Grade Academy
Clovis Municipal Schools extends appreciation to participating campuses, staff organizers, volunteers and community partners who helped make the event a success.
The top eight students will be recognized at the Clovis Municipal School Board meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Raintree Property, 2300 East Llano Estacado Blvd.
