The 8-week internships will begin on June 5, 2023 and end on July 28, 2023

OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES – Curry County placed 72 interns with various local business during the New Mexico Public Education Department’s Summer Enrichment Internship Program in 2022, and 31 interns in 2021.
“We are increasing our efforts this year and hosting 100 interns at various places of employment in our community. We are still in need of community partners to provide on-site training for interns,” said County HR Director Roybal.
“If your business is interested in hosting an intern, please contact our office. You will be making a difference in these students’ lives, and you may even find a long-term employee!”
