YUCCA MIDDLE SCHOOL DROP OFF AND PICK UP INFORMATION

Parents, 

We are looking forward to the beginning of a new school year, below is a reminder of drop off and pick up options.  Please pay careful attention to the attached map.  Our goal is a safe pickup and drop off of all our students.  

Students may be dropped off and picked up on BOTH our East and West side locations.  North parking is for BUS DROP OFF AND STAFF PARKING, please do not use this side of the building. 

We will have staff at specific locations to help students walking to cross the street safely.  

  1. There will be ONLY ONE lane of traffic close to the building.
  2. Traffic flow in the parking lot close to the street will require pulling into a parking spot. (teachers will not be using these spots to allow our parents to have space)
  3. Cones will be set and adults will help with the transition.
  4. Leaving the parking lot will require a right turn only.
  5. Our West Side remains a less busy and viable option. 
  6. The Bus Side (North of the Building) is prohibited.
  7. Please, remain in your vehicle during pickup times.

Esperamos con ansias el comienzo de un nuevo año escolar, a continuación hay un recordatorio de las opciones para dejar y recoger a los niños. Por favor, preste mucha atención al mapa adjunto.

Nuestro objetivo es recoger y dejar a todos nuestros estudiantes de forma segura. Los estudiantes pueden ser dejados y recogidos en AMBOS lugares del lado este y oeste. El estacionamiento del norte es para la BAJADA DEL AUTOBÚS Y EL ESTACIONAMIENTO DEL PERSONAL, por favor no use este lado del edificio.

Tendremos personal en lugares específicos para ayudar a los estudiantes que caminan a cruzar la calle de manera segura.

  1. HabráSÓLO UNO carril de tráfico cercano al edificio.
  2. El flujo de tráfico en el estacionamiento cercano a la calle requerirá que se detenga en un lugar de estacionamiento. (los maestros no usarán estos lugares para permitir que nuestros padres tengan espacio)
  3. Se colocarán conos y los adultos ayudarán con la transición.
  4. Salir del estacionamiento requerirá unsolo vuelta a la derecha.
  5. Nuestro West Side sigue siendo una opción menos concurrida y viable.
  6. El lado del autobús (al norte del edificio) está prohibido.
  7. Por favor, permanezca en su vehículo durante el horario de recogida.
