Yucca middle school and Freshman academy put on their winter concert. YMS opened the concert with their Concert choir which is all 7th grade ladies. Their first selection "Al la nanita nana" a sweet lullaby and then ended with "Little Drummer boy" Alice Reyes(8th grader at yms) then played a piano solo while our men's choir took the stage. Then the Men's choir sang two pieces as well showing off musicality and how smooth they can sing in "Durme,Durme" and then ended their setlist with "Cold snap", a nice fun piece. The women's varsity at yucca was the last group to go for yms and they sang a fun grinch medley and ended with a sweet piece titled "First Snow". After the ladies Lillian Strebeck (7th grader at yms) played a piano solo as the freshman group entered the stage. YMS and CHSFA sang a combined men's piece which many people will recognize titled "God rest you merry gentlemen". The women combined to sing a three part song titled "Where the light begins". The big finale every choir came up and sang "On with the snow" , a nice piece to kick off the holidays.
