Yucca Middle School held their Round 3: The Gauntlet - Life's Unexpected Auditions, yesterday.
Thank you to Southwest Cheese, ENMU, Citizens Bank of Clovis, Walmart, JROTC and Clovis Fire Department for your participation in judging our students.
Yucca had 30 students move through the gauntlet to judge their hand shake, eye contact, poise, communication and leadership skills. The students were faced with challenging questions about finances, college prep, employment opportunities, entrepreneurial ideas, air force opportunities and fire prevention. We are so proud of your students!
Yucca Middle School is proud to announce the top 3 that advanced to Clovis Schools District Amazing Shake in February. They are Lillian Strebeck (7th grade), Sarah Lee (8th grade) and MacKayla Smith (8th grade). They are all in the House of Altruismo! Here at Yucca, we are 4 houses, 1 school!
