The Yucca Symphonic Band performed in a combined concert with the Gattis Symphonic Band on Monday evening at Marshall Auditorium. They played an arrangement of music including a folk song, band standard, and of course some of your favorite Christmas songs. I would also like to recognize that Yucca had 28 students make the All-District Honor Band, an audition based group for the best musicians in the Southeast District (Portales, Roswell, Hobbs, Carlsbad, Artesia).
