Welcome to Zia Elementary!

Hello!

I’m Dr. Kaylene Davis and I’m so glad to be back working in Clovis Municipal Schools.

I was an ELA teacher and reading interventionist for 15 years before I went into administration. I became an assistant principal for Yucca Middle School in 2013 where I stayed for two and half years. I then moved on to Tucumcari Elementary as an assistant principal, Bovina, Texas as the Elementary Principal, then Curriculum and Instruction Director.

To be back in Clovis and working directly with students and teachers is such an exciting opportunity! Please know that the safety, well-being, and learning of all students at Zia Elementary are my primary concerns!
