Fall sports are in full swing. Here's what you need to know about athletic events happening on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

🏈 8th Grade Football: Traveling to Hobbs Heizer. The game time has been moved to 3:00 PM.

🏈 7th Grade Football: Taking on Yucca at Yucca at 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM.

🏐 8th Grade Green & White Volleyball: Playing a doubleheader against Hobbs Houston and Hobbs Highland at Hobbs. Game times for this event are 4:30 PM & 5:30 PM.

🏈 7th Grade Football: Taking on Yucca at Yucca at 5:00 PM.

🏐 Good luck to the Gattis volleyball team as they travel to Friona on Thursday afternoon to begin pool play! The tournament will continue Saturday in Friona.

Play hard, support one another, and represent Gattis with pride. We’re cheering you on!

Important Reminder: Students who do not attend school during the first three days may be withdrawn from enrollment.

If your child will be absent, please notify your child's school office as soon as possible. Letting your school know ensures we understand your student is still planning to attend Clovis Municipal Schools this year.

Returning Student Registration Update

We've received several questions about returning student registration, and we want to reassure our families that your student's enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is secure.

As part of our transition from Skyward to Synergy, all existing student records were successfully imported into the new system. That means we already have your student's information and their school assignment for the upcoming school year.

Who should complete New Student Registration?
✅ Students enrolling in Clovis Municipal Schools for the very first time
✅ All Pre-K students who have never been entered into the district's student information system.
✅ Kindergarten students who have never been entered into the district's student information system

If you need assistance accessing your ParentVUE account, please contact academic.services@clovis-schools.org. Be aware that due to a high volume of emails, you may not receive an immediate response.

Important for Kindergarten Families:
If you completed your kindergarten registration in Skyward before we transitioned to Synergy, you do not need to complete the New Student Registration form. Your student's information has already been transferred into Synergy.

What about returning students?
Returning Student Registration (verification) will open soon. This process allows families to review and update contact information, emergency contacts, health information, and other important details before the school year begins.

Although verification has not yet opened, your student is already in our system and assigned for the upcoming school year. We appreciate your patience as we complete the final steps to make Returning Student Registration available.

We'll share another update as soon as verification opens.

Mandatory Fall Sports Parent/Athlete Meeting

This meeting is mandatory for all athletes in grades 7-12 who will be participating in fall sports.

UPDATE: Due to anticipated high temperatures next week, Gattis Pre-season Football Camp has been moved to 5-7 PM for August 3-6.

🏈 Gattis Cubs, it’s time to get ready for football season!

Incoming 7th and 8th grade students at Gattis Middle School are invited to Pre-Season Football Camp for football skills and conditioning.

⏰ 3:00–5:00 p.m.

Athletes should bring shorts, a T-shirt, cleats, and a water bottle. A current physical and all Rank One forms must be completed before participation.

FREE summer meals are available for children ages 1–18 through the Clovis Municipal Schools Summer Food Program! ☀️🍎🥛

Meals will be served Monday–Friday from 10:00–11:30 AM, May 26 through July 31, at multiple locations across Clovis.
