Highland Elementary

Ms. Corsey's, Ms. Keith's and Mrs. Robin's 1st Grade Classes held their 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Parade under the direction of grand marshal Ms. Mandie Williams, Ed Fellow at Highland. This week students learned about the tradition of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! They read Balloons Over Broadway, planned their balloons, and made their balloons. A special thank you to Tasha Stacy, Ed Fellow, and Michele "Mimi" Chancy, volunteer, for all the help! Also, thank you to Keith Sacane, Principal, Kama Garcia, TOSA, and all the fabulous teachers and awesome students at Highland for being such a great audience!
