Kindergarten Registration Begins April 24, 2025

We are excited to welcome our newest students to kindergarten! Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at all Clovis Municipal Schools elementary campuses. Families have three options to register their child. Families can select the enrollment option that works best for them:

Online Registration – Online registration opens on April 24th for new students. Click here and complete the process through Skyward Family Access. The enrollment process can be completed 100% online. You will need to upload any necessary documents (birth certificate, proof of residency, immunization records, etc) to complete enrollment.
In-Person Registration on April 24 – Visit the elementary school your child is zoned to attend (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM). Staff will be available to assist you with the enrollment process, aid in uploading documents, and answer any questions you might have.
Current Lockwood Early Childhood Center Students – If your child is currently enrolled in the four-year-old program at Lockwood Early Childhood Center, a kindergarten registration day will take place on April 25, 2025, from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM on the Lockwood campus. Bring your documents with you for registration.

IMPORTANT: Families interested in the Kindergarten Bilingual Program must attend Kindergarten registration at La Casita Elementary on April 24. Those with questions about the bilingual program can contact Santi.gutierrez@clovis-schools.org.

What You Will Need to Register:

Birth certificate
Up-to-date immunization record or state-approved exemption
Social security number
Proof of residence (current utility bill or rental/lease contract in the guardian's name)

Who Needs to Enroll?

All children who will be five years old before 12:01 AM on September 1, 2025, must enroll in kindergarten unless a waiver is granted by the Academic Services Department.

Skyward Family Access – One Place for Everything!

All kindergarten registration can be completed through Skyward Family Access beginning on April 24, 2025.
