Welcome to La Casita Elementary!

My name is Lidia Delarosa. It is a pleasure to serve as the principal of La Casita Elementary, a Dual Language school. Our Dual Language program is a strong academic program that provides an enriched education and an opportunity for students to become bilingual and biliterate. Instruction in all content areas is given in Spanish and English, depending on the model of dual immersion 80/20. In this model, instruction is initially presented 80% in Spanish and 20% in English at the Kindergarten level. English is phased in until the amount of English instruction is equal to that of Spanish. Sincerely,
