There will be no school for students on Friday, March 14, 2025. This will be a data day for staff. District offices will be open. There will be no school on March 17-21, 2025. All district offices will be closed for Spring Break. Advanced meals for Spring Break will be available for pick-up on Wednesday, March 12. The Legends Tournament is happening in Clovis, NM, on April 26-27. Divisions: 7th-8th Boys 9th Boys JV Boys Varsity Boys $250 per team with a three-game guarantee. All area teams are invited to join. Alumni will be celebrated with a breakfast on April 26 at 8 a.m., followed by a three-point contest, skills contest, and a draft-style alumni game. Alumni should register individually using the QR code in the flyer.

Clovis Municipal Schools is offering free, pre-packaged meals for all enrolled students to ensure they have nutritious options during spring break! 📅 Date: March 12, 2025 ⏰ Time: 8:30–10:30 AM 📍 Pick-Up Locations: The Arts Academy at Bella Vista, Clovis Freshman Academy, Clovis High School, Lockwood, Yucca, Zia Meals are available while supplies last, so be sure to stop by early! Friday, March 14, 2025 will be a Data Day. A previous version of the calendar listed this day as a Parent-Teacher Conference Day. There will be no school for students on this day; however, teachers and staff will be working and administrative offices will remain open. While there are no scheduled parent-teacher conferences on March 14, parents who wish to meet with their child's teacher are encouraged to reach out directly to schedule a conference at a mutually convenient time. Lockwood Early Childhood Center will be holding parent-teacher conferences for their 3Y and 4Y classes on March 14th. Important Announcement: Clovis Municipal Schools will be releasing students early today due to worsening weather conditions. Friday, January 10, 2025 will be a remote learning day. All staff, including maintenance and custodial, will be remote for Friday. Students are expected to log in to Google Classroom at 9 AM to get the schedule for the day. In partnership with the City of Clovis, and to allow them time to continue to clear major roadways, Clovis Municipal Schools will be releasing students at the following times: Preschool/Elementary: 1:30 PM Middle School: 2:00 PM Secondary: 2:30 PM - Secondary student drivers are being released immediately. We understand that unexpected changes can be frustrating, and we appreciate your trust and flexibility as we navigate New Mexico’s unpredictable weather.

UPDATE: As of 2:13 PM, power has been restored at La Casita Elementary and iAcademy. For Immediate Release: Important Update: Power Outage at La Casita and iAcademy November 20, 204 - La Casita Elementary and iAcademy are currently experiencing a power outage due to a downed power line on Highway 60/84. As a result, school phones are temporarily unavailable. District administrators remain reachable by phone and are actively monitoring the situation in collaboration with utility providers. We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. Parents who need information can reach the district office at 575-769-4300. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we address this issue.

Clovis Municipal School District Responds to Safety Threat Clovis, NM – James Bickley has currently been placed into “Secure and Teach” mode due to suspicious activity in the area. We are in close communication with local law enforcement and have implemented increased security measures within the campus. Law enforcement has determined there is not a threat at this time. The National Survey of Children’s Health (NSCH) found that an estimated 53.8% of children aged 6 to 17 played on a sports team or took lessons as of 2022 — down from 58.4% in 2017, the first year the survey asked about sports participation. Returning Student Verification for the 2024-2025 school year will open online Monday, July 15, 2024. Families whose student/s were actively enrolled at the end of last year and will be returning for the new school year can complete all necessary steps online through Skyward Family Access. Enrollment for new students is ongoing. Visit: www.clovis-schools.org and click on “Enrollment” and follow the instructions for either enrollment or returning student verification. IMPORTANT: New enrollment is ongoing. Returning Student Verification will be available starting Monday, July 15, 2024. All returning students’ information must be verified in Skyward Family Access before the 2024-2025 school year starts.
