An alert was inadvertently issued while staff were engaged in security training at the GC Ross Administration Building Friday afternoon, initiating a preliminary security response. District security staff immediately issued an alert indicating the notification was a false alarm, reversing the alert status. Clovis Municipal Schools conducts regular security training with staff to ensure proficiency in the event of an emergency. The events of Friday afternoon were the result of an unfortunate error. Clovis High School Student Council (StuCo) is hosting a District talent show for Clovis Municipal Schools, in hopes of raising money for StuCo and to showcase all the talent Clovis has! Initial auditions will be held at Clovis High School Auxiliary gymnasium from 5-7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 8 & 9 Open to all students of Clovis Municipal Schools! All students, all grades are welcome and strongly encouraged to audition.   WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Each person will have a maximum of 5 minutes to perform their talent in the First round. Nothing dangerous so leave your flamethrowers at home!   GROUP ACT? If your child wants to do a group act, every child will need to have a permission slip that will be provided at the initial audition or you can fill one out beforehand for an easier audition process.
