GOING INTO A MEDICAL PROGRAM AFTER GRADUATION? THERE’S A SCHOLARSHIP FOR THAT! Clovis Municipal Schools is proud to introduce the Orisek-Mitchell Scholarship – an exclusive scholarship just for Clovis High School students who are going into the medical field after graduation. The scholarship awards $5,000 to one male and one female student, who will attend a higher education or trade program in the medical field. Applications are available in the Guidance Office at Clovis High School, and must be completed and returned by April 30, 2024, to be considered.
Online enrollment for preschool and kindergarten has opened for the 2024-2025 school year – Don’t wait, enroll today!     Clovis Municipal Schools conducts all enrollment online. Families can complete the process by visiting www.clovis-schools.org and clicking on “Enrollment”. ALL-CLEAR AT YUCCA MIDDLE SCHOOL AFTER SECURE & TEACH TO INVESTIGATE SECURITY REPORT Shortly after 11 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2024, Yucca Middle School was briefly placed into Secure & Teach to allow for investigation into a report of a possible security concern on campus.  School administrators and law enforcement investigated and did not find the report to be credible, lifting the Secure & Teach.  Regular activity is ongoing as scheduled. An alert was inadvertently issued while staff were engaged in security training at the GC Ross Administration Building Friday afternoon, initiating a preliminary security response.  District security staff immediately issued an alert indicating the notification was a false alarm, reversing the alert status.  Clovis Municipal Schools conducts regular security training with staff to ensure proficiency in the event of an emergency. The events of Friday afternoon were the result of an unfortunate error. Initial auditions will be held at Clovis High School Auxiliary gymnasium from 5-7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 8 & 9   Open to all students of Clovis Municipal Schools!   All students, all grades are welcome and strongly encouraged to audition.      WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  Each person will have a maximum of 5 minutes to perform their talent in the  First round. Nothing dangerous so leave your flamethrowers at home!     GROUP ACT?  If your child wants to do a group act, every child will need to have a permission slip that will be provided at the initial audition or you can fill one out beforehand for an easier audition process.  (max people per group: 5)     PERMISSION FORM:  https://tinyurl.com/cms-talent  Fill one out in advance for an easier audition process!      WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED?   Only mics, and if needed, a piano will be provided.
