💙✨ Honoring a Legacy. Living the Message. Leading with a Dream. ✨💙
This weekend, our Parkview family didn’t just remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. — we lived his message.
On Saturday, several of our students attended the MLK Breakfast, where they experienced powerful performances and heard an inspiring speaker remind us of Dr. King’s call to seek justice through nonviolence. It was a moment of reflection, learning, and purpose — and our students rose to the occasion in incredible ways.

We are beyond proud to celebrate two of our very own:
🏆 AJ Solis, who placed 1st in the Upper Elementary Speech Competition
🏆 Nevaeh Gallegos, who placed 3rd

Both students were recognized with awards, and AJ had the honor of delivering his speech in front of an audience of distinguished guests and representatives from CMS schools across the district. Watching our students speak with confidence, courage, and conviction was nothing short of unforgettable.
And then came the MLK March and Rally — with freezing temperatures and bitter cold that could not compete with the warmth of our Parkview spirit. ❄️💙 Students, staff, and families showed up, stood strong, and marched together in unity and support.

Because of YOU, Parkview had the highest student participation all weekend and has officially been awarded the Traveling Trophy, which will proudly live at Parkview until next year! 🏆👏
If you weren’t there, just know this:
You missed powerful voices.
You missed community in action.
You missed history being made by our students.

To our Parkview families — thank you for showing up, standing together, and proving once again that when it matters most, Parkview leads. 💙🐾
