Friday, September 11
Parkview, let’s come together in red, white, and blue as we remember September 11 and honor the people who showed courage, kindness, and strength during a difficult time in our nation’s history. ❤️🤍💙
Students and staff are encouraged to wear red, white, blue—or any combination of the three!
Together, we remember.
Together, we show kindness.
Together, we stand strong.
🇺🇸 PVE UNITED. 🇺🇸

Leading up to our FIRST HOUSE SORTING of the year, Mrs. Alday’s 4th graders kicked things off with their very first House Competition!
Students put their science skills to the test as they built ramps, made predictions, and explored the connections between speed, energy, and collisions. They weren't just racing—they were thinking like scientists, testing their ideas, and learning from their results!
❤️AMISTAD took the WIN!
💚ISIBINDI came in a CLOSE SECOND—by only 4 inches!
And while the results may have been close, the House Spirit was BIG!
What better way to build excitement for our first House Sorting than with a little friendly competition, teamwork, science, and House pride?!
The Houses are already bringing the heat… and this is just the beginning!

Mrs. Whittle’s 5th Grade Scientists were putting their teamwork skills to the test during a hands-on Saving Fred challenge! 🧪🪱
Their mission? SAVE FRED!
Students had to work together, communicate, problem-solve, think critically, and come up with a plan to rescue Fred from a tricky situation. And let’s just say… saving a gummy worm isn’t as easy as it sounds! 😅
This activity was about so much more than science. Our Panthers were practicing the skills that scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers use every day:
🧠 Think critically
🤝 Work as a team
💬 Communicate ideas
🔎 Problem-solve
💡 Learn from mistakes
We LOVE seeing our Panthers learning by doing, working together, and discovering that sometimes the best solutions come from thinking together!
Way to go, Mrs. Whittle’s 5th Grade Scientists!
Teamwork makes the dream work!

We're excited to welcome our students back this week for a legendary new school year!
Important Reminder: Students who do not attend school during the first three days may be withdrawn from enrollment.
If your child will be absent, please notify your child's school office as soon as possible. Letting your school know ensures we understand your student is still planning to attend Clovis Municipal Schools this year.
We can't wait to see our Wildcats back in the classroom!

Returning Student Registration Update
We've received several questions about returning student registration, and we want to reassure our families that your student's enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is secure.
As part of our transition from Skyward to Synergy, all existing student records were successfully imported into the new system. That means we already have your student's information and their school assignment for the upcoming school year.
Who should complete New Student Registration?
✅ Students enrolling in Clovis Municipal Schools for the very first time
✅ All Pre-K students who have never been entered into the district's student information system.
✅ Kindergarten students who have never been entered into the district's student information system
New Student Registration can be completed through this link: https://nm-clovis-psv.edupoint.com/PXP2_OEN_Login.aspx
If you need assistance accessing your ParentVUE account, please contact academic.services@clovis-schools.org. Be aware that due to a high volume of emails, you may not receive an immediate response.
Important for Kindergarten Families:
If you completed your kindergarten registration in Skyward before we transitioned to Synergy, you do not need to complete the New Student Registration form. Your student's information has already been transferred into Synergy.
What about returning students?
Returning Student Registration (verification) will open soon. This process allows families to review and update contact information, emergency contacts, health information, and other important details before the school year begins.
Although verification has not yet opened, your student is already in our system and assigned for the upcoming school year. We appreciate your patience as we complete the final steps to make Returning Student Registration available.
We'll share another update as soon as verification opens.

A HUGE thank you to First Methodist Church for always showing so much love and support to our Parkview family! No matter the season or need, they are always there for us.
From providing our students with warm socks, hats, and gloves during the winter ❄️🧤 to continually supporting our campus in countless ways, they truly make a difference in the lives of our students and staff.
During Teacher Appreciation Week, they surprised every staff member with a Taco Box gift card, and it made the week even more special! 🌮✨ We love that they always think of everyone and go out of their way to make people feel appreciated.
Thank you, First Methodist Church, for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. We appreciate you more than words can say!

We were honored to have lunch provided for our staff by Clovis Bethel Church! They treated our entire team to delicious Dickey’s BBQ sandwiches — and let’s just say those sandwiches disappeared in the blink of an eye! 😋🔥
Thank you, Clovis Bethel, for not only feeding our tummies, but also filling our hearts with your kindness and support. We truly appreciate you thinking of our Parkview family during Teacher Appreciation Week! 💛💙

We are so proud of two of our amazing students who participated in the Curry County Coloring Contest and came away with BIG wins!

🥈 2nd Place: Nola from Mrs. Fickling’s class
Representatives visited their classrooms to surprise them with awards and recognize their outstanding accomplishments. These young ladies showed incredible creativity, effort, and artistic talent through their beautiful coloring entries!
Way to go, Violet and Nola! We can’t wait to see your talents continue to grow in the years ahead! 💙
