Military and First Responders Appreciation Night will be held this Friday, October 3, 2025. Military members and first responders will receive free admission to the game with a valid ID.
Come cheer on our Wildcats as they take on Las Cruces at 7 PM at Leon Williams Stadium!
CMS staff and students also receive free admission to home football games with their school ID. Elementary and Middle School students can attend free with a paid parent/guardian.

Out of an abundance of caution, Yucca Middle School was briefly placed in Secure and Teach mode at around 10:12 AM due to a report of unusual activity on the roof. Law enforcement conducted a thorough search, and no threat was detected. The mode was lifted at 10:22 AM.
This Saturday, September 27 from 3–5 PM, our Yucca athletes will be out in front of Albertsons Market selling Hamilton Raffle tickets. Tickets are just $5 each for a chance to win a vehicle and, most importantly, every ticket helps support our Yucca Athletic Program.

Yucca Middle School is proud to recognize 8th grader Julia Bouchard as our Kiwanis Student of the Month. Julia has distinguished herself as a student who consistently goes above and beyond both in and out of the classroom. She is known by her teachers and peers for her caring nature, positive attitude, and dedication to learning, qualities that make her a role model for others.
Julia is a valued member of the YMS Dance Team, where she demonstrates not only her talent and creativity but also her commitment to teamwork and school spirit. Whether she is practicing with her team or participating in class, Julia brings energy, focus, and kindness to everything she does.
When thinking about her future, Julia aspires to become either a teacher or a police officer. Both career paths reflect her deep sense of service and desire to help others, qualities that are already evident in the way she treats her classmates and contributes to our school community.
Her excellent academic record, involvement in extracurricular activities, and compassionate character make Julia an outstanding choice for this honor. We celebrate her accomplishments and look forward to seeing all the wonderful things she will achieve in the years ahead.
