- The "Medical History" portion of the physical form must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian before the student arrives.
- Students without parent signatures on file cannot be examined.

1. Pick up the physical form packet from the Athletic Department Office or download it at https://www.clovis-schools.org/page/athletic-forms.
2. Complete and sign the parent history sections at home.
3. Send the student with the completed paperwork on Saturday, April 25th.

This free four-week program is open to students who have completed kindergarten through 7th grade. Students will work in small groups with an instructor to strengthen reading and math skills in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Our 8th graders had an exciting opportunity to tour Clovis High School (CHS) as they prepare for the next big step — becoming freshmen this fall! 🎓✨
During their visit, students explored the campus, learned about academic programs and extracurricular activities, and got a firsthand look at what life will be like at CHS. This experience helps ease the transition from Yucca Middle School and builds confidence as they get ready for high school.
We are so proud of our future Wildcats and can’t wait to see all they accomplish at CHS!

These sessions are designed to guide parents and students through the registration process and provide helpful information about middle school programs and opportunities.

🌬️⚡ Exploring Wind Energy in 8th Grade Science! ⚡🌬️
Ms. DeBusk’s 8th grade science class is currently studying Electrical Force and Circuits. This week, students learned about wind turbines and discussed the Roosevelt Wind Project near Elida, NM.
To connect their learning about electrical energy, wind energy, and circuits, students put their knowledge into action by building their own mini wind turbines!
Hands-on learning helps bring science concepts to life, and our students did an amazing job combining creativity, engineering, and scientific thinking. We are so proud of their hard work! 👏🔬

⚡🔋 Today’s lab was electric! 💡🔌
Students built simple circuits using batteries, wires, and bulbs to see electric current in action. 🧪🔬 They investigated how the sign of charges, the magnitude of force, and the distance between charges affect electric force. By adjusting these factors, they tested their ideas to make their bulbs shine brighter or dimmer. ✨ Hands-on science that truly lights up learning!
