Itās Game Day! š Yucca 7th Grade Blue/White teams play Portales at
4:30 PM and 5:30 PM. The 8th Grade team plays at 6:30 PM. All games are at Yucca Middle School.

Volunteer training tonight at 6:30 in the boardroom of the district's administration building (1009 N. Main St). Training will last approximately 45 minutes. You will need to attend one of the volunteer training sessions before you may volunteer at a school.

Itās Game Day! š Join us at 5 p.m. at Yucca Middle Schoolās Norman Vohs Football Field as our 8th Grade team takes on Hobbs Heizer followed by 7th grade taking on Portales at 6:15 p.m.

Student entries must be turned in by September 19th, 2025, by 3:30.
The poster must include the student's HOUSE representation.
Paper-based posters must be on an 8x10 or larger medium.
Posters will be turned in to Mrs. Barajas.

Volunteers Needed
You are invited to join us for an upcoming volunteer training session. All volunteers are required to attend training before volunteering at a school campus or event. Sessions last around 45 minutes, and you only have to attend one session.

UPDATE, 8:46 AM: This morning, construction equipment in the Yucca Middle School parking lot caught fire. The fire was quickly contained, did not affect the school building itself. Out of an abundance of caution, students are being relocated to areas of the building where the odor is less noticeable, and efforts are underway to ventilate the school. We will continue to monitor conditions closely to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for all students.

August 22, 2025- At approximately 8:01 AM today, a fire alarm was activated at Yucca Middle School, due to construction equipment in the parking lot that caught fire. Students and staff were safely evacuated from the building, and the fire department responded promptly. Students will be directed to join their class groups upon arrival.

Students at Clovis High School and Clovis High School Freshman Academy will need to show their school ID for free admission. Students in middle and elementary school can have free entry if accompanied by a paying adult (parent/guardian).
Middle school students must be accompanied by a paying parent/guardian, and they must sit either in the assigned middle school section or with their parent/guardian.
Come out and cheer on our Wildcats at their first home game of the season on Friday, August, 22, 2025 at 7 PM.
