Early College High School (ECHS) sophomores and juniors went "Back to the Basics" on Friday, October 13. Students learned to sew on a button, change a tire, basic first aid skills, and how to have a successful job interview. The ECHS program gives Clovis High School students the opportunity to attend school on the campus of Clovis Community College (CCC) so they can earn college credits while completing the requirements for graduation from high school. ECHS would like to thank Paul Blair, CCC Automotive Instructor; Karen Burns, CCC EMS Instructor; Nancy Walker, Community Member; and Brandon Boerio, Clovis Municipal Schools Director of Educator Quality, for volunteering their time.
