Do you or a family member currently have health insurance through New Mexico Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)? Everyone with Medicaid will need to renew when they are notified. Here’s what you need to know.
- Update your contact information. Visit https://www.yes.state.nm.us to update your contact information and check your renewal date in the chat or call 1-800-283-4465. To make sure you receive important information about renewing, update your address, email and phone number.
- Be on the lookout for a turquoise envelope renewal letter in the mail from the New Mexico Human Services Department. This letter will include instructions on how to renew.
- Complete your renewal application. When notified, sign in at https://www.yes.state.nm.us and click Renew My Benefits to complete your renewal application. The fastest way to get your renewal processed is online.
