Last night, the Zia 5th grade Honor Choir performed with all of the other elementary school honor choirs in the District Elementary Honor Choir Performance. The performance featured music from Lin-Manuel Miranda; including Hamilton, Encanto, Moana, and Vivo. This ensemble is audition-based, starting in September, and we meet twice a week to rehearse together. On the day of the performance, all of the schools came together and rehearsed for the only time, through the school day. These kids worked extremely hard, and they’ve been so much fun to teach! 🎶 “You are perfectly cast in your life. I can’t imagine anyone but you in the role. Go play!” ~Lin-Manuel Miranda
