🔍💡 5th Grade Treasure Hunt: STEM Edition! 💡🔍 Zia’s 5th graders recently set out on an exciting Treasure Hunt—but with a STEM twist! In this high-energy, team-based event, students engineered spaghetti bridges, egg-drop containers, and marshmallow catapults. Each group earned points based on how well their creations performed: How much weight could the bridges hold? Did the eggs survive the drop? How far could a marshmallow fly? The adventure culminated in an Indiana Jones-themed banquet (pictured), where students were recognized for their creativity, teamwork, and engineering smarts. Awards were given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall, as well as special honors for Most Cooperation, Engineering Excellence, and the coveted Wow Factor! A huge shoutout to Christal Hatley for organizing such an engaging experience and to our amazing cafeteria staff for preparing a delicious dinner. The evening wrapped up with music and dancing—an epic finale to an unforgettable STEM celebration! 🎉🎶 #ZiaSTEM #5thGradeAdventure
