If you missed picking up advance meals for Spring Break this morning, you’re in luck. A limited number of meals are still available.

Advance meal pickup will take place beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, and will continue while supplies last. Families interested in picking up meals may stop by Clovis High School at the old bus loop, located on the corner of Purdue and Thornton.

📚 Middle School Registration Meetings

Clovis Municipal Schools invites families to attend upcoming registration meetings to help students prepare for the next school year. These sessions are designed to guide parents and students through the registration process and provide helpful information about middle school programs and opportunities.

For Current 7th Graders (Rising 8th Grade)
📅 Monday, March 9, 2026
• Yucca Middle School: 5:00 PM
• W.D. Gattis Middle School: 5:30 PM

Note: Current 8th graders who were unable to attend the CHS tour or registration meetings are also welcome to attend to get their questions answered.

For Current 6th Graders (Rising 7th Grade)
📅 Wednesday, March 11, 2026
• Marshall 6th Grade Academy: 5:30 PM
(Meeting will be held in the auditorium.)

During these meetings, families will:
✔ Walk through the registration process.
✔ Highlight our diverse elective programs (Fine Arts, STEM, Athletics, and more).
✔ Answer specific questions about schedules and requirements.

We look forward to partnering with our families as we prepare students for another year of learning and growth.

Note: Students who will be entering 6th grade can attend the informational meeting at Marshall 6th Grade Academy on Monday, March 9, from 6 to 7 PM in the new gym.

• Lockwood Early Childhood Center
• Yucca Middle School

Each site will serve approximately 150 meals. If meals run out at one location, families may be directed to another site.

Join us tonight, Feb. 24, 2026, for the district basketball tournament as the Clovis Wildcats take on Roswell at 6:00 PM at The Rock (1900 N. Thornton).

Clovis High School FCCLA invites families to the 2026 Prince & Princess Luncheon on Saturday, February 28 in the CHS Cafeteria from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Dress up as your favorite prince or princess and enjoy a fresh meal, arts and crafts, games, and plenty of fun fit for royalty! 👸🤴

Important Pickup Update for Marshall 6th Grade Academy – February 17, 2026
Due to a fallen power pole near Marshall 6th Grade Academy, parent pickup procedures will be adjusted this afternoon. Families are asked to avoid the front drop-off area. Traffic will be redirected on-site to ensure a safe and orderly dismissal.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to keep students and families safe.

UPDATE - 2:10 PM - Due to the ongoing power outage at W.D. Gattis Middle School, the battery backups that were supporting phone and internet service have now been depleted. Instruction is continuing, and the power company is working to restore power.

At this time, families may experience delays in communication with the campus. If an urgent need arises, the district will communicate updates through official district channels.

Game Day is almost here.

Clovis will take on Hobbs this Friday, February 13. JV tips off at 5:30 PM and Varsity at 7:00 PM.

Boom sticks will be handed out while supplies last, and the Mini Cheer Camp will perform. Don’t forget to wear your purple and bring the energy.

Free admission for all CMS students and staff with a CMS ID badge. Tickets are also available online through GoFan.co (Search Clovis High School).

A quick reminder: If you have received a mail-in ballot for the Capital Improvement Act Tax election, your vote matters.

Although it’s too late to vote by mail, you can return your signed ballot to the Curry County Clerk’s Office, 417 Gidding St.

If you have not received your ballot, the County Clerk’s Office can print one for you.

Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026.
