
Volunteer training tonight at 6:30 in the boardroom of the district's administration building (1009 N. Main St). Training will last approximately 45 minutes. You will need to attend one of the volunteer training sessions before you may volunteer at a school.



CHS Welding was selected to take part in a hands-on outdoor project aimed at getting students involved in nature while learning how welding skills can be applied in real-life outdoor settings.
As part of the project, students designed and built campsite rocket stoves that can be used for both warmth and cooking. Now, we're raffling off five student-made stoves!

9/19: Homecoming Game/Homecoming Ceremony at 7 PM: Ceremony at halftime
9/20: Homecoming Dance at 7 PM: CHS Cafeteria, $7 admission
If you need a little extra spirit, Student Council is offering spirit pants in Wildcat, house themes, or your school's themes! Custom designs for your school or house are $40. The basic design pictured in the flyer is $20. You can drop off your own clean jeans to a CHS Student Council Rep or drop them off at the front office at CHS. Open to CMS Employees, Students, and Families. They are also doing face painting at the game!

It's game day! Did you know that all CMS employees and their immediate family members can come to home football games for free? Employees must show the CMS ID badge for free admission.
Don't forget that our students also get free admission. (CHS/CHSFA students must show their student IDs; Early College High School students can show their CCC ID card). Middle school and elementary school students can attend for free with a paying parent/guardian. Middle school students must either sit with their parent/guardian or remain in the middle school section.
Come on out to tonight's game at 7 PM to cheer on our Wildcat football team as they take on Farmington at Leon Williams Stadium.

Come out and support our Clovis High School Cheer program as they rally to raise funds for the 25/26 cheer season. There are two upcoming ways to get involved:

James Bickley Elementary Early Release Today at 1:30 PM.
Due to a geothermal cooling system issue, students will be released at 1:30 PM. Their mechanical and technology teams are en route and working to resolve the problem.
We’ll share an update on progress and tomorrow’s status by the end of the day. Supervision will be provided to students until parents/guardians arrive. Thank you for your understanding.


Students at Clovis High School and Clovis High School Freshman Academy will need to show their school ID for free admission. Students in middle and elementary school can have free entry if accompanied by a paying adult (parent/guardian).
Middle school students must be accompanied by a paying parent/guardian, and they must sit either in the assigned middle school section or with their parent/guardian.
Come out and cheer on our Wildcats at their first home game of the season on Friday, August, 22, 2025 at 7 PM.


The school was evacuated as a precaution, and the incident was handled promptly by school staff following district safety protocols. The Clovis Fire Department responded and students were able to return to class.


Update 11:03 AM - After a thorough investigation, the Secure and Teach Mode at CHS and CHSFA has been lifted at this time.
Update 10:50 AM - Clovis High School Freshman Academy has been placed in Secure & Teach mode to allow for investigation into comments made by a student at the Clovis High School campus.
Clovis High School was briefly placed in Secure & Teach at approximately 10:40 am on August 14, 2025, while school officials work with law enforcement to investigate comments reported by students.


This week's football scrimmage in Lovington has been moved to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025.
