At approximately 12:18 PM today, a fire alarm was activated at W.D. Gattis Middle School. Students and staff were safely evacuated, and the fire department responded promptly. The site has been cleared, and it was determined safe to resume instruction.


Registration for Camp Wildcat has closed early due to reaching full capacity. Thank you to everyone who signed up!
Families still interested in the state’s Summer Literacy Program can apply at literacy.nm.gov (Deadline May 20, 2025). Only a limited number of spots remain, and applicants may be placed on a wait list if the program fills.

On Monday night, Clovis High School celebrated its National Honor Society Senior Cording Ceremony. Thirty-seven seniors were awarded gold cords, symbolizing their academic excellence and dedication to service. These cords will be worn at graduation to recognize their achievement of graduating with honors.


This morning, we celebrated 62 outstanding Early College seniors who will be receiving their Associate Degree or Industry Credential from Clovis Community College next Friday, May 16th. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and extend our heartfelt congratulations to each of these remarkable students!


Clovis High School FCCLA “Show and Shine” event on Saturday, May 31st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Clovis High School parking lot. The event is open to cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Vehicle entry is $10; roll-in is from 9 to 10 a.m. The event is free for spectators and features prizes for People’s Choice. There will be food trucks and vendors on site.
