To help keep games at Leon Williams Stadium safe and enjoyable for everyone, all middle school-aged and younger students must enter with a parent or legal guardian and sit with their families during the game.
Students found away from their families will be directed back to their parents or guardians. Students who repeatedly do not follow this expectation may be asked to leave the stadium.
Thank you to our families and fans for your cooperation and for helping create a safe, positive game-day experience for everyone!

The junior varsity football game against Portales scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, in Portales has been canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The JV/freshman game against Roswell at Leon Williams Stadium is still on as scheduled.

Students may visit The Rock between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for on-site jacket sizing and ordering. Package options begin at $143, with leather sleeve upgrades and additional customization options available.
Payment is expected on order day, and full payment must be made within seven days to avoid cancellation. Accepted payment methods include credit card, check, cash, or online payment through SSRJackets.com. A $15 processing fee applies.

September 4, 2026 — At approximately noon today, a fire alarm was activated at W.D. Gattis Middle School. All students and staff were safely evacuated as a precaution. The fire department responded and determined there was no fire. Students and staff have returned to the building, and instruction has resumed as scheduled.

September 2, 2026 - Earlier today, W.D. Gattis Middle School administrators investigated reports of a possible weapon on campus after rumors circulated among students and on social media. Law enforcement was notified through our district’s School Resource Officer. No weapon was found, and there is no evidence of a threat to the campus at this time. We understand these reports can cause concern, and we appreciate everyone who promptly shared information so it could be addressed.

August 28, 2026 - At approximately 12:20 p.m. today, a fire alarm was activated at Marshall 6th Grade Academy. All students and staff were safely evacuated as a precaution. There was no fire. The campus was cleared as safe for students and staff to return and resume instruction.
