In response to a recent increase in anonymous and unidentifiable phone calls to our schools, Clovis Municipal Schools is implementing a new measure to enhance campus safety. Effective immediately, any incoming calls that do not display a caller ID or appear as “anonymous” will be automatically blocked from reaching school campuses.
We understand that some callers may intentionally block their number for privacy, but in order to maintain a safe and secure learning environment, we must ensure that all communications can be properly identified and verified. We encourage anyone needing to contact a school to ensure their phone number is visible when calling.

2nd GRADE SHOWCASE is DECEMBER 17, 2025 at 9AM-10AM
The module title is: Properties of Matter.
Students learned the three states of matter (solid, gas, liquid) and they learned about texture and color properties. Then the main focus was on insulators and conductors, mostly with heat. Learning how to read temperature and understanding that it plays a role in affecting the states of matter. Students were to solve the problem that one of the kids had by bringing ice pops to the soccer game but not having a cooler or anything to keep them cool for 30 minutes. Students in their groups had constraints (limits) to what they were able to use and had to use their knowledge of conductors and insulators to put together a "cooler" within 30 minutes with the materials that they were given.

The Cheer/Dance Enrichment taught by Ms. Bell has learned quite a bit this year!! They are amazing at getting the crowd pumped up for an assembly or house sorting!! From house chants to dances, this group of kids has done so much this semester!! GOOD JOB GOOD JOB!!
