Clovis High School Freshman Academy

On Tuesday, November 12, members of CHSFA's yearbook class, Student Council, and Pre-AP English classes visited Eastern New Mexico University for the fourth annual Media-Con. There they heard a keynote presentation by Lucas Aragon, Executive Director of Design for ABC Television, Disney, and Hulu and were able to attend sessions ranging from newspaper and creative writing to sports and weather broadcasting along with public relations and marketing. Students had a great time learning about the different aspects of media! This field trip was a great opportunity for our students to experience how the broadcasting world works, and it allowed them to engage with a great speaker with plenty of knowledge in this field.
