Throughout her career, Vicki Guiffre has demonstrated a deep commitment to education, service, and community engagement. Her journey began in college with a transformative service-learning project in Haiti, followed by two years of service in Kenya with the Peace Corps, where she focused on HIV/AIDS outreach and education. Upon returning to the U.S., she continued her service-oriented work in mental health on Chicago’s South Side before earning her Master of Arts in Education from Roosevelt University in 2006.

After four years of teaching in Illinois, Vicki relocated to New Mexico, where she spent 13 years teaching students in grades K–5. Her passion for fostering intellectual curiosity and critical thinking later led her to transition into gifted education, where she has taught grades 7 through 9 for the past six years. Drawing on her diverse background and global perspective, Vicki is dedicated to creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that empower every student to reach their full potential.

Vicki is currently our 9th Grade Gifted and Talented teacher, and her hard work and dedication to this program and school is appreciated.
