Reality Check Day

CHSFA freshmen recently had the opportunity to participate in Reality Check Day, hosted by United Way and supported by several community volunteers. During the event, students experienced two real-world scenarios designed to build financial literacy and life skills. In the first session, they were assigned jobs and budgets, giving them a hands-on look at how adults manage expenses and make daily financial decisions. In the afternoon, students stepped into another adult scenario that helped them better understand the resources and support available through United Way for community members facing unexpected monthly expenses.

A big shout out to United Way and the community members that gave up their day to help freshmen students understand daily life as an adult.
