At approximately 12:18 PM today, a fire alarm was activated at W.D. Gattis Middle School. Students and staff were safely evacuated, and the fire department responded promptly. The site has been cleared, and it was determined safe to resume instruction.

We’re excited to announce that the Yearbook Signing Party will be held on May 21 from 1:00–2:30 PM. We will also have Lala’s Drink Truck on campus during the event. Students are welcome to bring money if they would like to purchase any treats. Please note: The event is only open to students who have purchased a yearbook.

The Legends Alumni Basketball Tournament will take place this Saturday, April 26 at The Rock Gym at Clovis High School. The Opening Ceremony begins at 9 AM. All-Day Pass is $8 for adults and $5 for students. Come catch the tournament action! Concessions will be available.

Join us for the All Choral Night Concert featuring choirs from Marshall 6th Grade Academy, W.D. Gattis Middle School, Yucca Middle School, Clovis High School Freshman Academy, and Clovis High School. Do you need an evening out? The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is offering a Parents Night Out on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at W.D. Gattis Middle School (5100 N. Thornton St.). Children, aged 3-11, will enjoy creative activities, games, and pizza. All children must be potty trained to attend. Register before May 1 and the cost will be $20 for one child and $15 for each additional sibling. Late registration on May 2 will add an additional $5 per child. Payment is cash only at the door. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday our middle schools are state testing - there will not be bus pick-ups at the two mid-schools for 8th graders who participate in high school athletic programs on those three days for athletic period.

Middle School Cheer Tryouts will be April 29-May 1 at the Clovis High School Freshman Academy Auxiliary Gym.

Middle School Dance tryouts will be May 5-7 at the Clovis High School North Gym.
