Yucca Middle School is excited to offer FREE After-School Math Tutoring beginning the week of September 14th! 🎉
Students can get extra support, practice skills, ask questions, and build their confidence in math in a small-group setting.

👥 Only 10 students per week
Students will rotate weekly so we can give more students the opportunity to participate. Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up!

Our 7th and 8th grade Yucca Chaps are headed to the 2026 Portales Volleyball Tournament tomorrow, Friday, August 21! We’re sharing the attached schedules, brackets, and tournament information so our families and fans have everything they need to come out and support our Chaps! 🏐💙🤍

🏐 7th Grade: Tournament play begins at 8:00 AM.
🏐 8th Grade: Pool play begins at 8:00 AM, with bracket play following later in the day.
📣 Important reminders for both the 7th & 8th grade tournaments:
• Games will run on a rolling schedule.
• Outside food and drinks must remain in the lobby. Only water is allowed on the playing floor.
• A clear bag policy will be in effect.
• Admission will be charged at the door.
• Team camps may be set up in the lobby, but no volleyballs are allowed in the lobby.
Please check the attached flyers for game times, gym locations, pool play, and bracket information.

🏐 7.th grado: Los partidos comienzan a las 8:00 AM.
🏐 8.th grado: Los partidos de grupo comienzan a las 8:00 AM, seguidos por los partidos de eliminación más tarde durante el día.
📣 Recordatorios importantes para los torneos de 7.th y 8.th grado:
• Los partidos continuarán de acuerdo con el horario del torneo.
• Los alimentos y bebidas de afuera deben permanecer en el lobby. Solamente se permitirá agua en el área de juego.
• Estará vigente una política de bolsas transparentes.
• Se cobrará la entrada al torneo.
• Los equipos pueden establecer su área en el lobby, pero no se permiten pelotas de voleibol en el lobby.
Por favor revisen los volantes adjuntos para ver los horarios de los partidos, los gimnasios, los partidos de grupo y las llaves del torneo.

Important Reminder: Students who do not attend school during the first three days may be withdrawn from enrollment.
If your child will be absent, please notify your child's school office as soon as possible. Letting your school know ensures we understand your student is still planning to attend Clovis Municipal Schools this year.
