La Casa Family Dentistry is offering a school-based dental clinic for students at Highland Elementary, James Bickley Elementary, Arts Academy at Bella Vista, Marshall 6th Grade Academy, and Yucca Middle School.
Parents/Guardians who want their child to participate in this dental clinic will need to fill out and return the consent form that was sent from the school. If you need a consent form, please contact your school nurse. Services are provided at no upfront cost to families, but insurance will be billed. La Casa accepts Medicaid and private insurance and they also offer a sliding fee scale.
💃🕺 Nothing like ending the week on a high note! After enjoying a delicious school lunch, our Yucca students filled the cafeteria with music, dancing, and lots of laughter. 🎶🍴

A volunteer training session will be held on Wednesday, October 16 at 6:30 PM in the boardroom at the Clovis Municipal Schools Central Office, located at 1009 N. Main St. All individuals who plan to volunteer this year are required to attend a training session before participating in any school activities.

📅 Friday, Oct. 3 – Our 7th Grade Volleyball Teams will compete in their tournament at W.D. Gattis Middle School.
📅 Saturday, Oct. 4 – Our 8th Grade Border Conference Volleyball Tournament will also be held at W.D. Gattis Middle School (starts at 10 AM).
We’ve attached the brackets for both tournaments so you can follow along and cheer on our Lady Chaps all the way!
Come out, show your support, and let’s pack the stands for our athletes!

Calendar Reminder: There will be no school for students October 10-13, 2025. Friday, October 10th will be a Data/PD Day for staff. All district offices will be closed on Monday, October 13th.
Military and First Responders Appreciation Night will be held this Friday, October 3, 2025. Military members and first responders will receive free admission to the game with a valid ID.
Come cheer on our Wildcats as they take on Las Cruces at 7 PM at Leon Williams Stadium!
CMS staff and students also receive free admission to home football games with their school ID. Elementary and Middle School students can attend free with a paid parent/guardian.

A huge congratulations to Yucca Middle School’s Assistant Principal, Mr. Joseph Williams, for leading an incredible program that gave our youth the chance to enjoy the great outdoors.
Thanks to his leadership and passion, students were able to experience nature, learn new skills, and create lasting memories. We’re so proud to have Mr. Williams guiding and inspiring our community!

The 8th grade Border Conference Volleyball Tournament will be held at W.D. Gattis Middle School (5100 N. Thornton) this Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025. Games will begin at 10 AM. Games may start up to 15 minutes early if the tournament is running ahead of schedule.
Admission is by card only. $5 plus $1 fee. No school passes or employee badges will be accepted for admission.
Cash concessions will be available.
