Important Pickup Update for Marshall 6th Grade Academy – February 17, 2026
Due to a fallen power pole near Marshall 6th Grade Academy, parent pickup procedures will be adjusted this afternoon. Families are asked to avoid the front drop-off area. Traffic will be redirected on-site to ensure a safe and orderly dismissal.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to keep students and families safe.

We are so very proud of all three of our students who competed in the District Spanish Spelling Bee Contest (Iker Martin Arias, Ian Muñoz, and Jesus Ramos)!
Iker Martin Arias proudly brought home 3rd place! Great job!

In response to a recent increase in anonymous and unidentifiable phone calls to our schools, Clovis Municipal Schools is implementing a new measure to enhance campus safety. Effective immediately, any incoming calls that do not display a caller ID or appear as “anonymous” will be automatically blocked from reaching school campuses.
We understand that some callers may intentionally block their number for privacy, but in order to maintain a safe and secure learning environment, we must ensure that all communications can be properly identified and verified. We encourage anyone needing to contact a school to ensure their phone number is visible when calling.

Remote Learning Update: Tomorrow (1/26/26)
Hi Families,
We will operate on a remote learning schedule tomorrow, following the same timetable we used this past Friday. To ensure every student can succeed, please help your child follow these classroom expectations:
* Cameras On: Students must remain visible throughout the session. 🧠
* Active Participation: Ask and answer questions just as we do in person.
* Focus on Learning: No video games, YouTube, or side calls during class time. 📵
* Complete Tasks: All assignments should be finished by their deadlines.
A Note on Conduct: 📝
While we were lenient during our transition on Friday, we noticed several disruptions (such as chat spamming and microphone misuse). Moving forward, we will be following our school’s discipline matrix to ensure a productive environment for everyone.
Thank you for your support in keeping our virtual classroom a great place to learn!

La Casita Elementary, Marshall 6th Grade Academy, and Clovis High School Folklórico came together at the La Casita Elementary gym to give back-to-back performances that delighted their audience. The show was full of excitement, stomps, twirls, laughter, and applause.
We are so proud of these children for celebrating their culture and traditions so confidently.
A huge thank you to the teachers who dedicate so much time and care to this art form.

As we head into winter break next week, we want to send our students and families off with a quick reminder: strong attendance helps students thrive. We’re excited to start 2026 together on the right foot.
Students return on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Let’s work together to melt away absences and make the new year a season of growth, connection, and great learning.
We hope you enjoy a safe, restful break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in January.
