Ms. Carter's class celebrated the 67th day of school by completing a Math Fact Circuit of 67 pages of drills within 67 feet of hall space, tackling as many sets of 6-7 problems as they could in 6 minutes and 7 seconds. When they returned to the classroom, the students wrote multi step expressions that each had to be equivalent to 6, 7, or 67. (They convinced Ms. Carter to expand the answer bank to include decimals and powers of 10 of 67.) Each class had a goal of 67 expressions to write collectively⦠yet the classes wrote a combined total of 267 expressions! They even created some 67 art during SEL.
Great job kids, and to Ms. Carter for her creativity!
