Parents be sure to put this event on your calendar! You won't want to miss it!

Marshall 6th Grade Academy had a very successful Science Family Engagement Night! Students, parents, and teachers had a great time eating yummy foods and working at centers such as Make-a-Pinwheel, Build a Catapult, and last, but not least, Bernoulli's Principle Center. Thank you to all who came out and made it such a wonderful night of learning!

Today we join Altruismo by celebrating National Compliment Day!
Yesterday our kids worked in their SEL classes creating cards to give to staff and parents, and then today our teachers passed these out to parents at drop-off.
Make someone's day and give them a compliment!
Thank you parents for all you do!

Congratulations to our Marshall 6th Grade Academy 2025 winners of The Amazing Shake! Twenty-five students put their skills to the test on Friday, January 17. They participated in such competitions as presenting a new school policy to Superintendent Russ, asking for a raise from a potential employer, giving a pep talk to a losing team, and even presenting a new city policy to Mayor Morris. The day ended with our three winners: Aiden Weston (1st), Annalaya Mondragon (runner-up), and Kynlee Ulibarri (runner-up). These three will go on to compete in our district competition on February 4th. Congratulations students! We are so proud of you!

Important Announcement: Clovis Municipal Schools will be releasing students early today due to worsening weather conditions.
Friday, January 10, 2025 will be a remote learning day. All staff, including maintenance and custodial, will be remote for Friday. Students are expected to log in to Google Classroom at 9 AM to get the schedule for the day.
In partnership with the City of Clovis, and to allow them time to continue to clear major roadways, Clovis Municipal Schools will be releasing students at the following times:
Preschool/Elementary: 1:30 PM
Middle School: 2:00 PM
Secondary: 2:30 PM - Secondary student drivers are being released immediately.
We understand that unexpected changes can be frustrating, and we appreciate your trust and flexibility as we navigate New Mexico’s unpredictable weather.

Marshall 6th Grade Academy had a fun filled last day before Christmas Break! They were serenaded by Mr. Benson at lunch with a saxophone and Christmas music, watched a fun movie, played board games with one another, line danced with Mrs. Speer, played King Pin, and enjoyed a game of volleyball! Hope everyone had a wonderful day!
