FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America) is this week’s Career & Technical Education highlight of the week.
FCCLA is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) courses at Clovis High School. Students learn to balance career and family responsibilities, develop leadership skills, and develop technical skills needed for Family and Consumer Sciences related careers.
Through their community service projects, members experience character and interpersonal communication development. FCCLA has recently volunteered for Trek for Trash and to assist with many community events. In addition, members will compete in several events at conferences during the Spring semester.
