She did it again! Every year, Mrs. Lamb has her class put up an ofrenda for Día de los muertos. She has a beautiful ofrenda in her classroom!
Day of the Dead or Día de los Muertos is a celebration of life held on November 2nd every year. During this time, families honor those who have passed away through food, drinks, and celebration. In addition to celebrations, ofrendas or offerings are placed on ornately decorated altars in the home as gifts for the spirits of loved family members who have died.
Día de los Muertos has become very popular, especially after the Disney movie "Coco" explained the tradition and why the people of Mexico celebrate this holiday.
