Last week, Clovis High School HOSA- Future Health Professionals (HOSA) hosted nurse practitioner and midwife, Cristy Walsh as a guest speaker. She has been a women’s health provider in the Clovis area for the past 20 years.
HOSA-Future Health Professionals is an internationally recognized career and technical student organization (CTSO) that helps health science students acquire technical and leadership skills with the mission of promoting career opportunities in the healthcare industry and enhancing the delivery of compassionate, quality health care to all people.
HOSA supports our student leaders by striving to offer members a variety of opportunities that will prepare them for a career in health care. This may include community service projects, guest speaker presentations, sharing available secondary and post-secondary education options, and preparing for competitive events to gain experience, knowledge, and technical skills. HOSA members learn, lead, serve, and innovate as they work to become leaders in the health community!
