OCTOBER CHS NEWSLETTER

We are off to a strong start this year, and I want to thank you for the support you provide every day to ensure your student’s success at Clovis High School. As we move further into the semester, I’d like to take a moment to reinforce a few key areas that are vital for student achievement and for maintaining a positive school community.

Attendance and Academic Success
Consistent attendance is one of the strongest predictors of student success in high school. When students are present and engaged, they not only keep up with instruction but also build the habits that prepare them for college, career, and life. We ask for your partnership in reinforcing the importance of being in class every day and keeping up with assignments. Please encourage your student to complete all classwork and reach out to their teachers if they need help—our staff is here to support them.

Respect, Responsibility, and Safety
At Clovis High School, we are committed to creating an environment where every student feels respected and safe. Respect for peers, staff, and oneself is essential to building a culture of kindness and learning. Responsibility means coming prepared, making good choices, and owning one’s actions. Safety remains our top priority, and we all play a role in maintaining a secure school environment. Together, respect, responsibility, and safety form the foundation of our school community.

We value the partnership between home and school, and your role is key in reinforcing these expectations. By working together, we can help every student reach their full potential academically and personally.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We look forward to continued growth and success throughout this school year.
