The scholarships are designed to recognize students who demonstrate strong academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement. Each scholarship totals $5,000 and will be distributed to the student’s college or university over four consecutive semesters at $1,250 per semester.
Applications will be reviewed by the Foundation’s Scholarship Application Review Committee, which includes members of the CMS Education Foundation Board of Directors, the Clovis Municipal Schools Deputy Superintendent, and additional education and community representatives as needed.
To be eligible, applicants must:
Be eligible to graduate from Clovis High School during the current school year (including students at both iAcademy and the Early College High School at Clovis Community College)
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5

As part of the online application process, students will submit information about their academic honors, school activities, and community service or employment experiences. Applicants will also list the colleges or universities they are applying to and their current admission status.
Students may include up to three recommendations from a school counselor or principal, a Clovis Municipal Schools teacher, and an outside reference such as an employer, minister, or community service coordinator. Letters of support may also be uploaded but are optional and not required for scoring.
