FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CLOVIS, N.M. — Clovis Municipal Schools is proud to announce that Clovis High School student Liana Loucks has been selected as a recipient of the Davis New Mexico Scholarship, a highly competitive award that provides full cost-of-attendance support for college.
The Davis New Mexico Scholarship is designed for college-ready students who will be the first in their families to earn a college degree. Beyond financial support, the program is committed to expanding college access across New Mexico by connecting students with colleges and universities that offer strong academic and personal support systems.
Recipients are selected in the fall of their senior year, allowing scholarship staff to begin working closely with students and their families well before the transition to college. Through college counseling, family engagement, and opportunities to build connections with fellow scholars, students are equipped with the tools they need for long-term success.
In addition to covering the full cost of attendance, the scholarship provides ongoing, individualized academic and emotional support throughout each student’s college journey. Davis New Mexico partners with higher education institutions to ensure scholars receive consistent guidance and resources through graduation.
